How to fix Paper Jam issue in Dell Printer?

It is quite annoying when working with Dell Printer and paper jam issue comes. Find and take out any paper jammed in the loading tray

·         Take out any loose paper sheet from the loading tray.

·         Push Resume button on the top of printer.

·         Take out jammed paper sheet one at a time, beginning from the middle.

·         Look for any remaining piece of paper sheet.

Removing the jammed paper from back of the printer

Removing back access panel

·         Find the button on the back of the Dell printer. If it's a handle, rotate it to the Unlocked position.

·         Push both buttons on either end of the flap at the same time and take it out.

·         Take the panel and slowly pull out the stuck paper.

·         Place module back on and attach it into clap.

·         Push the button on top of the flap and open it.

·         Take the panel and slowly take out the stuck paper.

·         Find and take out any piece of paper that still present.

·         Close the black module again.

Removing paper out from the front cover

If the earlier steps have failed to be beneficial, you may try to take out the jammed paper by taking it out from the front cover Slowly and Easily. Remember, as mentioned above, this step is basically not suggested and should only be applied in the last.

Reloading and testing the printer

Once you've fixed the paper jam, removed any present bits of paper, and made sure that the print can take place without problem, test your printer.

·         Place paper into the loading tray in a proper manner.

·         Print some page to check everything is working fine or not. Basically, a self-test can be done by pressing for long time until the device starts printing.
